Our team was in charge of creating the bulkheads and pressure vessels for the liquid flight vehicle.
We placed a strong emphasis on safety for this portion of the vehicle, as it is the only component with enough stored energy to be considered hazardous. We used SolidWorks to model the bulkheads and tank, along with its built-in finite element analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate how the bulkheads would respond to the applied pressure.
