We were tasked with designing and build a liquid rocket engine as part of a certification course. We had to build it all on our own. Working on all the geometry using the isentropic equations and CEA run which is a NASA website that calculates a majority of the needed values like gamma and temperature. Given all of these we made a MATLAB code which we used as a calculator to give us all the dimensions of our engine and the sizing for our orifice holes.
